Czech Republic
The Browns have served as missionaries in the largely atheistic Czech Republic since 1989, seeking to partner with the local church in evangelization and discipleship. Over the years, Marshall has pastored a local church, taught in a seminary, implemented elder training workshops, and written Christian literature in the Czech language. Cathryn is involved in women's and children's ministry.
In 2022, Petr Luhan, a native Czech, took over as the pastor at the church Marshall had pastored for 17 years in Čelákovice. ECC has partnered with the Browns for over 20 years. We have sent teams to participate in summer evangelistic English camps partnering with local churches since 2001. This has brought about many relationships witnessing to the truth of the Gospel. People have come to faith and been discipled to maturity.
