Affiliated Ministries are independent local organizations that closely align with our mission and values, and we do encourage active support and participation with them. Many of our Community Groups have adopted an Affiliated Ministry as their local outreach project.
Boy Scout Troop 837
The Boy Scouts is one of America’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character, religious values, citizenship and personal fitness. For over 100 years, Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.
• Cub Scout: For boys 7-10 years old, Cub Scouting is the foundation of our organization and involves the whole family as parents pitch in to plan and deliver activities.
• Boy Scouts: For boys 11-17 years old, this is the traditional Scouting experience for young men. With guidance from experienced leaders, Boy Scouts develop personal values, purpose and leadership skills through the rugged world of outdoor adventure.
